There are several factors that determine the time it will take for your order to be delivered including the shipment method you select at checkout, the time of the year, day of the week, weather anomalies and other factors. Most of the year our standard order processing time is 24-48 hours. From October through February our average order processing time is about 24-96 hours. We ship using UPS, USPS and common freight carriers. Typical shipping time once we have processed your order is 1-6 business days within the continental US. We cannot and do not guarantee transit times with carriers.
We DO NOT ship to PO Box addresses. If you enter a PO Box address and your package does not arrive, it will be likely be returned to us. At that point, we will either refund you product purchase amount minus any unpaid cost for outbound and return shipping to us or we will re-ship the package at your expense once you have paid a second invoice for the cost of re-shipping to a non PO Box address.
a. Shipping Time
Most orders will ship within 24-48 hours (M-F only). During our busy season (October through February) shipping time may reach 24-96 hours or more from the time you place your order. Expedited orders (overnight, 2-day air) will be expedited and will be shipped within 24 hours of placing your order, usually on the same day the order is placed. During the last week of the year you can expect longer than usual delays in order processing.
Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday or during in-climate weather that does not allow our employees to safely get to work.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Any shipping or transit time offered to you by The Christmas Light Emporium, its website or other technologies or by any other parties - is only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping, weather or product availability.

Please note that all of our wireframes are handmade and as such they can take up to 7-10 extra days of processing time prior to shipping, especially during the busiest months of October-December. All of our large light show displays are also handmade and can take up to 2-3 weeks or more from the date of order to fabricate and prepare for shipment.
b. Shipping Rates
Shipping cost will vary depending on a variety of factors including size and weight of your order, the delivery location, and the method of shipment you select at checkout. We offer standard ground, 2 day and overnight shipping.
We do not ship to locations outside of the United states and its outlying territories.
Our shipping rates are simple. We simply pass through whet the carriers are asking - for the cost of delivery the items to your location. We also offer 2 day and overnight expedited shipping. Expedited shipping is not available for custom items or items that must ship via freight.
On some large orders (orders containing many products) and oversize items, automated systems do not have the intelligence to correctly calculate shipping based on how many boxes it will take to pack a large order or how much a freight carrier will charge to deliver heavy items. In these cases, we will contact you to let you know the accurate shipping amount that will need to be added to your order total prior to shipping.
We offer free shipping on orders for which the pre discount/shipping/tax sub-total is greater than a pre determined threshold and the shipping address is within the continental United States.
